classic solutions for problems that does not exist

  2. ahmedovahmed

Millions of people around the world don’t even get doctor controlled child birth today… these technologies serve only top 10% of the World’s population. The rest… Who gives the f*ck about the rest???

  3. Dogboy73

Nice house that woman lives in. Looks like its in the middle of knowhere. Like as not there will be a council estate just down the road full of poor people that can’t afford any of this shit! It seems the future is only available to the well off. No change there then :-(

  4. yasserhy

did you notice that with all the “Green” movement everywhere, the future has little to none plants! :) looooool .. i guess that tells us that the Green Movement has failed :P

  5. mali75851

Wake up people, its a new form of slavery. We will be monitored in our toilets, even in our bedroom. If someone stands up against this system, his chip will be turned off.

  6. avatarelite

    @benmaxinm heard about free healthcare.

  7. kurtnelle

I prefer the Ghost in the Shell vision of the future.

  8. SuperPeripheral

This just goes to show how much Star Trek & science fiction as a whole has influenced how we perceive what’s possible in the future. Awesome. Too bad this is the ideal.

  9. luiggiboy95

    soooo fucking away from reality

  10. marvin4578

@CloudMatrix In the future I am sure they can remotely block your digital wallet and find some way to check if it is a robber or not.

  11. RadicalMassacre

the future never comes fast enough…
    :(

  12. abbaink

I truly LOVE this video. How much of it was done on an Apple? Remember you can run Windows on a Mac but not the other way around. What Microsoft envisions as designs of the future Apple is already making now. They can do that because they make the hardware AND the software that runs it. So it works.

  13. CloudMatrix

    The Digital Wallet is flawed…
All a robber would need to do is kill you and steal your thumb, they will have full access to your bank and credit information.

  14. WhatTheHeckAnimation

In the future you can hack ANYTHING!!!! :P

  15. kevinrocksyo

@benmaxinm you are absolutely right .When bill gates created the windows software and put it on the market it was expensive and most people could not afford it.But he then decided to make windows cheaper and everyone started buying it maybe they might try to make this future software cheep and everyone will but it.Other softwares like apple and Linux will be worthless

  16. TorBarstad

@benmaxinm We have mobile phones today much because rich people bought them in the past. They were expensive, big and didn’t work that well – now the majority of the world has one. I wish the world was fairer too, but the development of technology helps us all, and it will provide all people in the future with much greater standards of living in the future then the worlds richest have today. As the richest countries a few decades ago had lower standards of living then the poorest have today.

  17. booge009

i dont understand why does the microsoft depection in this video needs a doctor,if at all this could be true then homo sapiens are being to be the most idiotic creatures on this planet-depending on technology rather than their brains coz i personally believe that microsoft needs to draw a definite boundary between a life “DRIVEN BY TECHNOLOGY RATHER THAN TAKEN !!!!!!”-i hope someone over there is listening. .

  18. sincityfire

Must do well in school to get this future… *tries harder*

  19. andyllamanipl

Heh, the future seems bright to me! All thanks to Microsoft. Not Apple. MICROSOFT.

  20. mechanicwarrior

its inevitable. This technologies must be echo friendly and we need to expand our minds. Will be fast to attend patients and safe.

  21. berkeley73

Looks a bit like the beginning of “Fight Club”. Could lead to a similar outcome… ;)

  22. jlopez0o

    Omg is it real?!?!?!?!?!?

  23. SuperLC1010

I was about to say they need to put in an advert saying “Only for the filthy rich & famous” near the end of this video.

  24. ookikies

I’m gonna have buttons. My fingers dont agree with touchscreens.

  25. fzshinobi

Amazing! Especially that device the doctor used to check the patients eye, amazing! ^_^ If only it were possible, though.

  26. Spanky00Cheeks

reading the description: Vote Ron Paul? He wants to make health care as if it was vacation timeshare. As if health care is a luxury, instead of a life necessity. Universal health care is the only moral choice, and you don’t have your money go to sales, advertising, or CEO’s, instead of to doctors.

And those programs are entitlements because the people have payed for it when they worked. Like you are entitled to insurance money that you payed into.

  27. choclabs3

Private ins in Canada – now don’t that beat all?! Private for PAY clinics – why? Customers!

And Doc’s pay stipulated by the Govt (makes them effectively employees – just like my Brother, a surgeon, has predicted will happen here).

Already so many docs don’t take medicare/aid and this “free HC” is going to cripple our care as docs leave the system or simply refuse to take it until legislated to take it – just like canada.

The POOR get SCREWED again. “Sure it’s free – just get in line”.

  28. choclabs3

My point is really simple – even a teenager will get it when I ask:
Why does Canada have PRIVATE INS if your HC is so great and free?

How does PRIVATE PAY for an MRI in Canada flourish? CUSTOMERS!

You say but your employer pays for it – SO WHAT. What happens when you lose your job? You have NO INS. Now we’re back to what you say is so wrong w/USA.

I won’t lose my coverage because I OWN it – no emp ins for me! I KNOW how to be self reliant.

You provided all the FACTS I need – see above.

  29. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 I’m through with you. Very disappointing. I’ve had better debates with teenagers on here. You can keep positng your same drivel. I’m not responding to links from opinion pieces or cherry picked stories that provide nothing but bullshit, ancedotal evidence. Keep your system. Hope you never lose that coverage when you truly need it. Next year it might be 45001 dead. Time for lunch.

  30. choclabs3

And it’s true – anyone who speaks badly, including your doctors are all “a@@es” – clearly your are much smarter?

Denials are “rare”. My links to studies & commentary are just fodder but your posts are GOSPEL.

You are THE EXPERT – in spite of all the links (THERE ARE PAGES OF STUDIES AND COMMENTARY) you hold on to your infirm belief your system that only happens “occasionally”.

LOL – if 45K american’s died because they were w/o ins – what did the other’s die from ?? Having insurance?? LOL!!

  31. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Wow, you are good at repeating your same talking points that mean nothing.

I love your last claim that socialized care = death, yet there is no study proving that. Unlike the ACTUAL PROOF of my claim provided. Your good at opinion, but real lousy at back up to claims. QUIT WASTING MY FUCKING TIME.

  32. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 This is what I mean by a STUDY. You know. Something from a reputable medical journal. And your an EMS?? So if some dickhead, conservative writer for some rag like the National Review tells you that using knitting yarn is best for a stitch, you must believe him then eh??

“The authors conclude that more than 2 MILLION of about 12 million Americans with a history of cancer “did not get needed medical services because of financial concerns.””
    bmj. com/content/340/bmj.c3312.extract

  33. choclabs3

Why does Canada have PRIVATE INS if your HC is so “great and free”??

How does PRIVATE PAY for an MRI in Canada SURVIVE – CUSTOMERS! LOL!

Lotteries to be assigned a Doctor & care?

Why doesn’t CONgress FIX Medicare/aid FIRST?

ALREADY ins premium have jumped 9% because of HC legislation!

Ins co can’t compete across state lines – improving competition & lowering costs - WHY NOT?

No $ for MORE RESOURCES – WHY NOT?

SOCIALIZED MEDICINE = WAIT TIMES & DEATH FROM NO/DENIED CARE.

  34. MadHabber93

    @choclabs3 Lies eh?
    Nearly 45,000 annual deaths are
associated with lack of health insurance, according to a new study published
online today by the American Journal
    of Public Health.

And you didn’t provide studies. You provided opinion pieces from the National Review by a guy named DICK. Wow, you’ve shown me.

  35. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Most people have their 3rd party insurance paid for my our employers you dolt. I pay nothing and have full coverage. For those that don’t, we are talking small amounts. ANd its RARE, extremely rare, that a cancer drug is not available. And when you look at outcomes, based on the most 2009 numbers, our 5 year survival rates are virtually identical. Except for that little 2 million Americans forgoing further treatment thing. Or the countless going bankrupt. OOOOPPSSSS

  36. choclabs3

LOL – thousands of DEAD AMERICANS – BAHAHAHAHAAHA your drinking the Koolaid of misconception again. SHOW ME ONE. LIE LIE LIE.

Just ignore the studies, the links I’ve posted – the koolaid is so sweet and colorful! LOL – oh my, you don’t know what you’re missing that is the problem I see.

When you don’t even know the basic facts and are so brainwashed… how sad for you.

  37. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Castoguay WAS NOT THE FATHER of Canadian HC. He was one of MANY ministers who helped start it in the province of Quebec. One minister flip flopping means Jack SHIT. Nice try though.

  38. choclabs3

I can’t prove you wrong but “the Father of Canadian HC” admits he was wrong.

Just look at my posts – all these links – your fellow Canadians think you are wrong (or just lying). These are FACTS. Read learn accept that you are wrong – be a man and own up. Or go to Greece and get a “cheap” amputation. Or get cancer in canada and have to BUY INSURANCE to get life saving drugs because your GOVT WON”T COVER THEM.

They are available IF YOU CAN PAY – WOW, not really “free” is it? *doh*

  39. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Your Canada press article is Castoguay, who did NOT pioneer our system is it claims. Tommy Douglas did, and was voted the most popular Canadian a couple of years ago. He is also tied to insurance companies. Another cherry picked bad example.

  40. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 ONE FUCKIN RICH politician went to Florida in the middle of winter, who could have had it here in Toronto by doctors who PIONEERED the procedure is CHERRY PICKING. I know of a former governor of Alaska that went to Canada for care too. BIG FUCKING DEAL

  41. choclabs3

You say canadians don’t work for govt but isn’t their pay LIMITED – yes

    canadafreepress. com/index.php/article/12397
This one must be a BIG BLOW to your “perceptions”

    old.nationalreview. com/comment/dick200512200840.asp
ultimate goal of bringing the state medical monopoly crashing to the ground

    city-journal. org/html/17_3_canadian_healthcare.html

Finally – it wasn’t that long along one of your prominent ministers came to USA for an operation. Actions speak louder than words. Cherry picked?

  42. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 And calling me a liar is just cop out. Prove anyone of my claims wrong. Show me there is more than one town doing a lottery. Cause I can show you that the more Americans/capita that don’t have a family doc compared to Canada. Show me what drugs we don’t have available here, in addition to how that effects my health outcome. Show me studies providing better health outcomes than us, because I can show ones showing the equivalent or better here. Quit wasting my fucking time.

  43. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 And there are thousands of DEAD Americans, EVERY YEAR, because they can’t access your system due to cost. 2 million American Cancer patients forgoing treatment because they can’t afford it. Countless other who go bankrupt or sell their home to get that treatment. Please. If you want to pound your chest that somehow your system is superior, sorry, cherry picking a few cases of people waiting for non-urgent care doesn’t even come close to the stats not receiving ANY care in the States.

  44. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 We can buy private insurance, for much less than your insurance premiums, for care not covered under our medicare. SO fucking what? It works. I know this, BECAUSE I LIVE HERE.
I’ll offer it up to you again, come to London, Ontario. I’ll show you around all the hospitals, since I go in them on a regular basis for work. I’ll put my money where my mouth is.
Here’s a question, since you have a hard on for it, how long to Americans who can’t afford an MRI wait?? FOREVER!!!!

  45. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Now you are back to being an ass. There is only evidence of one town using a lottery. Prove I’m lying.
The median wait time for NON URGENT MRI’s in Ontario is 30 days. 0 days for urgent outpatient, and 0 days for inpatients. I know this,, BECAUSE I LIVE HERE.
Gratzer is a pompous, lying sack of shit. His facts are NOT facts. Kucinich put him in his place here. Find a better, NON-BIASED, reference.

  46. choclabs3

Funny, you have so many excuses and blame cherry picking – if I give you 100 examples would it still be “cherry picking’. Because there are THOUSANDS.

The lottery is just “one town” – LOL – that is one too many but I KNOW it’s more than one town. Lie.

You have to buy PRIVATE INSURANCE to get all the care you should get because govt won’t pay – how is this good?? Govt joke on you.

You have a cottage industry where you can PAY to get an MRI immediately instead of waiting MONTHS or YEARS.. etc

  47. choclabs3

    does canada do it better?
BO prefers single payer – and that is where we’re headed.

Read the book “The Cure” by Canadian Doc Gratzer – get the FACTS about your system (Canada) from YOUR doctors.

Again, you’ve been without for so long you don’t know what you’re missing.

  48. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 What I also find funny is your complaint about me bashing the U.S. system, when I barely said anything about it in my last postings and that wasn’t even bashing it. I was comparing the two systems. All you do is cherry pick articles and stories, while ignoring your own problems. Please spare me.

  49. MadHabber93

@choclabs3 Ok, A. What am I lying about??
    B. Our system is a mix of mostly public and some private. Not all provinces cover drugs. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
    C. The lottery is for one little town, population of 4000. Just like the U.S., small towns or rural areas have hard times attracting doctors Why?? Because its a SMALL town.
    D. Tell me, what am I lying about. Please, humor me.

  50. choclabs3

You say you can have whatever doc you want in Canada – so then why are their lotteries to be assigned a doc (oh, I know you have an “excuse” for that too).
